Common questions

Before you walk in.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Photo ID, insurance card if billing insurance, a list of medications, and any imaging or operative reports. Wear clothes you can move in — shorts and a T-shirt work well for most lower- and upper-body exams.

Do you take insurance?

Yes — we can bill many plans. Rates on this page are self-pay references. Call or note your carrier on the booking form and we’ll confirm benefits before your evaluation.

How do cancellations work?

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice so we can offer the slot to another patient. Same-day no-shows may be charged a fee — we’ll review the policy when you book.

Do I need a physician referral?

Georgia direct-access rules often allow you to start PT without a referral, though some insurers still require one. We’ll tell you what’s needed for your situation when you schedule.

Who is a good fit for return-to-sport testing?

Athletes clearing post-injury or post-op milestones, weekend competitors returning after time off, and anyone whose coach or surgeon asked for objective readiness data.
